Meeting at Gorey Harbour, near the bus station enjoy a private guided tour of Mont Orgueil Castle with a Jersey Heritage site approved guide.
The tour takes us through each of the castle wards, right to the very top. It is a time travelling adventure, through hidden stairways, and towers, to secret rooms. On our adventure you will learn why the castle was built, and by whom, and about the famous and infamous characters who lived (and some who died) there.
The walk is a 90 minute moderate climb through the castle. There are many stairs and the surfaces are uneven and 800 years old, so we recommend sensible walking footwear.
